HUT68 PTE LTD (Traditional Javanese Massage Hut)

From 5 March to 27 May 2018, the Consumers Association of Singapore (“CASE”) received 243 complaints* regarding the closure of Hut68 Pte Ltd trading as Traditional Javanese Massage Hut.
The registered office address of Hut68 Pte Ltd is at 415 River Valley Road #01-00 Singapore 248314. The company is a different entity from Traditional Massage and Beauty Care Pte Ltd trading as House of Traditional Javanese Massage.
Consumers reported to CASE that the outlets located at Bukit Timah, Jalan Jurong Kechil, River Valley and West Coast Plaza had closed down and the business is now uncontactable. These consumers also feedback that they had pre-paid for their massage packages and their unutilised sessions amount to approximately $143,000 in total.
The only branch of Hut68 Pte Ltd previously accredited by CaseTrust is located at River Valley Road. Affected consumers who had prepaid for massage packages from this outlet, and have prepayment insurance protection, would be contacted by AVA Insurance Brokers on their refund of the unused prepayments.
