From 3 to 23 March 2018, the Consumers Association of Singapore (“CASE”) received five complaints* regarding the closure of Apex Car Pte Ltd.The registered office address of Apex Car Pte Ltd is at 61 Ubi Avenue 2 #02-13 Automobile Megamart Singapore 408898, and not Apex Trading Pte Ltd, which is located at #02-20.
Consumers reported to CASE that the business had promised to deliver their cars in late February/early March 2018, but has since vacated its premises and is now uncontactable. These consumers also feedback that they had paid deposits for their cars amounting to approximately $206,000 in total.
Affected consumers may approach CASE for further assistance. Consumers who suspect that fraud is involved should report such cases to the police.
