Nature of Consumer Complaints

The unfair practices complained by consumers includes using small print to conceal a material fact from the consumer or to mislead a consumer as to a material fact, in connection with the supply of goods or services (Example 20 of the Second Schedule of the CPFTA).

Consumers who wish to report any unfair practices committed can contact CASE. Consumers who wish to dispute the recurring charges made to their credit cards should approach their merchant banks. CASE understands that consumers who have done so have obtained a refund for the recurring charges made.
