On 7 November 2024, CASE visited Element Testing Service (s) Pte Ltd, a leading global provider of Testing, Inspection and Certification.

Element Testing has been a longstanding partner of CASE and vital support to our CaseTrust accreditation schemes. Under the CaseTrust-Singapore Jewellers Association accreditation requirements, all accredited jewellers are required to send their gold jewellery to Element Testing for gold testing to ensure its authenticity.

Additionally, there has been a rising number of homes with high formaldehyde levels reported recently. During the visit, Element Testing also shared how they can measure and reduce the presence of this cancer-causing agent lurking within wooden cabinets and shelves.
