From 12 April to 7 May 2018, the Consumers Association of Singapore (“CASE”) received seven complaints* regarding the closure of Milan Furnishings Private Limited (“Milan Furnishings”). The registered office address of Milan Furnishings is at 3 Gambas Crescent #01-12 Nordcom One Singapore 757088. The company was newly registered on 12 April 2017.
Most of the consumers who reported to CASE mentioned that the delivery of their furniture had been delayed for several months. They recently found out that the shopfront had closed down and the business is now uncontactable. Consumers also feedback that they had paid a deposit or in full upfront for their furniture amounting to approximately $14,000 in total.
