The Consumers Association of Singapore (CASE) is a non-profit, non-governmental organisation that is committed towards protecting consumers interest through information and education, and promoting an environment of fair and ethical trade practices. One of our key achievements is in advocating for the Consumer Protection (Fair Trading) Act (CPFTA) which came into effect on March 1, 2004.
Opening Hours for Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve
Dear Consumers

In view of the COVID-19 situation, our operating hours will be revised to the following:

10am to 4pm on Mondays to Fridays (except Public Holidays)

Please take note however that our office will be closed on 25th December and 1st January 2021 for Christmas and the New Year.

Our operating hours for 24th December and 31st December will be from 10am to 12pm.

We would like to encourage you to lodge your complaints via our website or to call our hotline (6100 0315).

While our office remains open for urgent consultations, as part of our precautionary measures, fewer officers will be stationed to attend to walk-in consumers at our counters. As such, longer waiting times would be expected for walk-in consultations.

We will also be restricting the number of visitors to our office and will only allow 1 visitor to accompany each consumer.

Visitors who are unwell are advised to rest at home or seek medical assistance. They should only visit our office when they have fully recovered.

We remain committed to serve consumers as expeditiously as we can for complaints received through the submissions portal on our website.

The Consumers Association of Singapore (“CASE”) has signed Voluntary Compliance Agreements (“VCAs”) with three beauty/hair salons – Organic Salon Pte Ltd (“Organic Salon”), Spacio TCM Wellness Pte Ltd (“Spacio TCM Wellness”) 1 and The Four Seasons Beauty Saloon Pte Ltd (“The Four Seasons Beauty Saloon”) – to cease various unfair practices.
